The ECCOS Residencies for Artists program [ERA]* informs the artistic community about the cross cultural possibilities that open up nationally and internationally.
- Targeting the development of artistic creation, the exchange of ideas, the experimentation of new concepts, the need for interaction with other backgrounds, multicultural learning and the mobility of artists and works of art.
- Resulting in a personal and artistic development of the individuals involved.
In order to consolidate the practices of artistic and cultural exchange in the region the program offers, provides and identifies opportunities for artistic residencies and information on various existing programs that are in partnership with ECCOS artistic residencies in Brazil and world.
Each residency can be composed of project from varied backgrounds, content, templates and languages. The ERA program proposes to interested parties the following project and its regulations:
OBJECTIVE
-Provide a place of artistic research and creation for one or more specific projects.
-Provide exhibitions or events for the works created during the time of the artist residency.
-Generate public interaction
PROJECT
The program aims to provide the artists the opportunity to undertake a collective work, conduct research, develop specific projects, present creative work in the local arts scene, provide opportunities for local artists to participate in programs of other countries, to promote national and international exchanges, dialogue and collaboration in the field of the arts.
